Blazes of a Thousand Centuries

21st CenturyThe blazes of a thousand centuries
Beckon your hand downward
Where gruesome ghouls sing of tyrannies,
The only friend thereunder is a fateful card.
Upon descent, the walls of the tunnel are bloated
With clamor and fire-breathing
In their hateful eyes which gloated:
Burning heads and bloodied bodies melting.
He is there atop his thunderous throne--
Hades, king, lavishing at your moan.
