Halloween in the Hazel Woods
21st Century
A life ago in the hazel woods
'Round about Halloween
We'd go to the trees
And knock the nuts
In the way it'd always been;
And we'd dance with spirits
Around each tree,
With spirits we'd never seen,
But knew were there
When the hazel woods
Were but sunlight
Turning green.
