Moving Earth

By Joe Duvernay

21st Century

Crackle on palisade
Tension blurs
Sea and storm
Run palpable rings,
Actually smash and quaver.
Rocks mud its very splash below,
As the face falls.
This is how many roads are washed-out.
Rarely can cliffs take
The bashing for long.
Sea being strong
And long, lasting longer
Can by a day briefly
Lead portions down,
So over time
Nothing is left.
This is how we men too
Are found at an end to be jaded,
Gravity choose, that all things
Go back to the source is how.
Corf full and leaning,
We find a place to dump the load.
